12 -year-old Russell Wright’s life changes when his family moves into a new house and he discovers a secret portal in his room that takes him to a kingdom where through the luck of geography, he is chosen to be King. “Under” is a place full of quirky characters and unending adventure. Unfortunately for Russell and his wise cracking westie, Gus, there are also many foes on his kingdom’s doorstep and complications connected to his newfound throne . Both Bob Wire and Auntie First are looking to expand their power base and snatch the crown from the new king. Russell’s time in Under leads him through strange and wonderful quests and conundrums that takes the viewer along for a wild ride. With the help of his merry Under band, Loopy, Vernon and the ex-princess Populah, Russell finds fun, excitement and the meaning of leadership on his journey through this strange land.
